Archivist needed for disability rights history project. Tasks include digitizing documents, books, pamphlets, buttons and news articles of significant historical events relating to disability rights. Tasks also include digital transfers and content management for the community website at dramny.org.
Requirements
Candidate must have an interest in preserving historical references to the growth of the disability rights movement in the United States, with an emphasis on events occurring in the New York Metropolitan area. Candidate must have an ability to use technological tools and software at a computer workstation to digitize assorted historical artifacts and documents. Candidate must have an ability to manage digitized content displayed on the community website at dramny.org. Attention to detail is critically important.
